Student Life

Hebrew Academy High School strives to create a learning environment through both formal and informal education. Our student Activities Department helps elect and guide a Student Council that assists with planning a range of fun and inspirational activities for our students, including Shabbatonim, trips and Friday night Onegs. We believe that a love for Judaism can be reinforced via students’ participation in a variety of activities, from Rosh Chodesh dancing and hiking on Sukkot, to an uplifting Shabbaton in the mountains.

Through their participation, our students cultivate connections and lifelong friendships. They enjoy an exceptional family environment and experience many “only in HA” opportunities including:

  • Colour War
  • Boys’ Talent Show
  • Girls’ Production
  • The HA Amazing Race
  • Clubs (Robotics, Science, Choir)
  • March of the Living
  • Grade 11 Washington trip
  • Arbraska
  • Cross-Curricular French & Science outings

Hebrew Academy’s rigorous academic offerings are complemented by rich and fulfilling extra-curricular initiatives. High School students participate in myriad regional and national programs including:

  • QAIS  (Quebec Association of Independent Schools) Public Speaking
  • Model United Nations
  • National Honour Society
  • International Bible Contest
