Welcome to the new and improved Hebrew Academy website!!
We have been working diligently over the summer months to get the site up and running and provide our teachers and staff with the training and tools they need to improve our communications with students and parents.
We have been so proud of our achievements as Hebrew Academy moved into the digital age with interactive whiteboards in all our elementary and high school classes. Our library is being upgraded to enable our students to study and research in a more “computer-friendly” and relaxed environment. In recent years, the chemistry, science and computer facilities have been refurbished to reflect a more modern approach to teaching. Plans are underway for a new playground which will include a soccer field, new basketball courts and green spaces. We will continue to upgrade our school in order to provide our students with a top notch, well-rounded education that will prepare them for their future careers.
Our Hebrew Academy “family” could not be complete without each and everyone’s help. Whether it is fundraising for a specific event or activity or volunteering in our cafeteria and minyans, our parents play a pivotal role in the atmosphere and culture of our school. We cannot do it without you!!
As Executive Director, I have been proud to see the school flourish and grow. Hebrew Academy has come a long way….from the streets of Ducharme in Outremont, to Mackle Road and then to Kellert Avenue,we have grown to over 650 students, from Pre-K to Secondary V.
As 2012 will be Hebrew Academy’s 45th anniversary, we are on the threshold of a momentous occasion for our school. We look forward to celebrating this milestone with all of you.
May we go from strength to strength.
Linda Lehrer
Executive Director
