Mazel Tov to all the Hebrew Academy Chidon Hatanach participants. The Regionals took place on March 10, 2011 at Congregation Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem (TBDJ) . All the HebrewAcademy students will continue to compete in the National Contest on May 1st at Bialik High School and May 2nd at TBDJ.
Elementary participants included Josh Lasry, Shmuel Perton, Matan Tordjman, Eliana Rohr and Zachary Rehany.
The Hebrew Academy Regional Elementary winner is Yehonaton Haimovici , who won First Place. Yehonatan was presented with a special award from BJEC. The ceremony took place at the Federation building.
Mazel Tov to our Elementary and High School students who competed in the Chidon Hatanach. In the Grade 5-6 Division we are proud of Yehonatan Haimovici for placing 2nd, and Eliana Rohr for placing 3rd. We are also proud of Noah Cohen who placed 3rd in the Grade 7-8 Division!
