Your contribution to any one of the Hebrew Academy Special Funds enables our students to benefit from the value of a Jewish education.
Think of Hebrew Academy when you wish to commemorate special occasions such as Births, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Engagements, Marriages, Condolences and Yahrzeits in a meaningful way.
What a wonderful way to honour family and friends by contributing to these special funds! The honouree will receive an attractive card from the school marking the occasion, and a tax receipt will be mailed to the donor.

“The Gift of Education”
In pursuit of Excellence and for as little as $1,000 you can set up your own Endowment Fund.
The money will be invested and the interest earned will enable us to give a child “The Gift of Education”. You may increase your endowment by making a personal donation, making a donation in someone’s honour or memory or have someone else make a donation in your honour. Your Endowment Fund will be your living legacy for generations to come. All Endowment Funds will be listed on our Donor Board.

Donations may be made towards this annual scholarship awarded to the student who excels in the areas of chesed by helping at shiva homes and visiting the sick and elderly.
| ALUMNI FUND |

The generosity of alumni enables Hebrew Academy to maintain its place as one of the foremost Jewish day schools in Quebec. Donations contribute to much-needed financial aid, thereby enhancing the school’s vision of excellence in education and reinforcing the school’s quality of research and teaching, particularly in the areas of entrepreneurship, social skills, sustainability and finance. Gifts may be directed towards the following priority areas:
- Scholarship support for students with financial needs who hold academic promise
- Technology innovations that take advantage of the latest educational techniques
- Faculty research
- Ongoing development of relevant courses that prepare our graduates to be marketable in today’s society

Donations may be made to commemorate all special occasions. Books are inscribed with the names of the donor and the honouree, as well as the event. Subscriptions to magazines or journals may also be donated to the school.

Donations may be made towards the purchase of books, furnishings for the Beit Midrash and funding for special programming.
| TECHNOLOGY FUND |

In our ongoing efforts to maintain the highest level of academic excellence, Hebrew Academy strives to keep up with current educational standards with regard to all aspects of its curriculum, both secular and Judaic. The use of information technology improves the teaching and learning of all subjects and enables students to have a better understanding and enhanced knowledge of the overall curriculum. The additional benefit of applying information technology is that it will provide our students with necessary skills for their various post-high school and lifelong activities.

| TUITION SCHOLARSHIP FUND |

Benefactors may make a donation to be applied to tuition relief, thus ensuring that “no Jewish child is denied a Jewish education”.
